The power double wing offense can create a balanced attack that is tough to defend. Using a variety of diagrams and film, Coach Jeff Reents breaks down the blocking schemes for a power run, sweep run, and a counter trey run. Reents charts the blocking for an even-front and an odd-front to prepare all blockers for their responsibilities. While doing this, he provides his own personal tips that have given his teams great success over the years.
Preparing for Even & Odd Fronts
Coach Reents shows how to create walls with offensive linemen to slow down all kinds of defenses. He diagrams the three types of running plays with color coding to make installation as easy as possible. You will learn how to create a wall with four offensive linemen that scrape down the line, the responsibilities of the fullback, quarterback and pulling guard on their blocking responsibility, as well as how to coach a player to adjust during the game when the defense tries different schemes.
